Over 37 years’ experience in Civil and Structural Engineering
John is a professional engineer who provides forensic engineering analyses and expert witness services. His areas of expertise include highway design, construction, and maintenance; work zone traffic control; and the evaluation of traffic control devices such as traffic signals, signs, and markings. He also specializes in intersection design,
pavement, and road surface design and maintenance, and addresses human factors related to driving. His portfolio extends to accident analysis, trucking- related matters, snow and ice control, parking lot design, layout, operation, and pedestrian accommodation. Moreover, he is proficient in aspects of pedestrian movement, sidewalks, ramps, crosswalks, ADA accessibility, and the oversight of municipal and public utilities within the public right- of-way.
Holding both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Civil Engineering and with over 37 years of experience, he is licensed as a Professional Engineer in nine states and is a certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer. His recognition includes being a Fellow in the National Society of Professional Engineers and serving as the Past President of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers. He has completed over 600 expert reports and has testified in over 50 depositions and trials as an expert witness, lending his expertise in local, state, and federal courts across various states and jurisdictions.
